This weekend we went to the annual Podenco Specialty Show in Norway.
We have been there a few times before. In 2013, Loki went all the way to win the BIS, first time ever that a Cirneco won BIS at that show! In 2014, Tesla placed BIS-3! 😀
This year I only had Tesla entered. Judge was Knut Blütecher, Sighthound specialist and very knowing about the mediterranean breeds. 77 dogs entered to the show (10 breeds), lots of high quality dogs!
Tesla won BOB out of 5 entered Cirnechi, and the judge said “Wow, just… WOW.” 😀
She also got tickets to Best Head and Best Movement, and in the finals she won BEST HEAD!!! 🙂 🙂
In the Best In Show final, the judge had open critique about all BOB dogs, and when he talked about Tesla he ended with “This is a dog of World Class!”. It really warmed my heart to hear!!
And finally, the day ended with Tesla winning BEST IN SHOW!!! Wohooo!!! 😀 😀 😀
So now she can add SBIS to her titles! I’m super happy and so, so proud – she behaved absolutely perfect all day and never put a paw wrong. <3

After the show we drove 5 hours to Eskilstuna KC show, where Tesla finished the outdoor season with a BOB and an excellent Group 3rd!!! =D
Now it’s time for a short break, and we will be back in the rings in October.
