Standing on the shoulders of giants.
There are just not words enough to describe the feeling of having the winning dog in a Group Final at a European Winner Show. A huge group. And it’s your own breeding. AND the dog also wins Junior of the Day.

But I will try to express my gratitude anyway. Because that is what I feel most – gratitude. And PRIDE. I am SO proud to be the breeder/owner/handler of Tesla, who is also our family pet when she’s not at shows. She is such a wonderful, happy and funny girl besides being beautiful, and I feel that she deserved to get a high placement a little more just because of that. 😀

So how did I get here, to this moment, when I’ve only just begun breeding CdE? Luck? Yes, some luck. A lot probably.
But also: there are many giants who’s shoulders I am standing on at this moment and to whom I owe a great part of this success: Many dogs from kennels Gelso Bianco and Seta del Oro, we also have Gufo and Toto and many other wonderful dogs, and VERY talented breeders whom with their great knowledge and combinations led up to Lucky and Lava, and finally my heartful thanks to Inka and Marjo for letting me use Lucky for this litter, my “dream combination”. 😀

We had hopes, but I don’t think any of us expected THIS much… 😉

So, I dedicate this win to all breeders of Cirneco dell’Etna through history. I am happy to have had the chance to play a small role in this amazing success for the breed.
