This weekend will be remembered forever!
It started on friday with Primo winning BOB and CAC and becoming SWEDISH CHAMPION!!
At the same time in the other ring, all of our cirnechi got exc and CK, lovely comments and our groups got HP.
In the finals there was 29 (!!!!!) Breeders Groups (normally 12-15). We felt defeated from the beginning but had some hopes of being shortlisted.
We got shortlisted! Got to do our “special turn” (wich people commented with some awe the next day, hihi).
And then we made the next cut to top-4!! OMG! Placement in BIS in this competition?!!? Unbelievable! :-O
The other 3 groups where Shappendoes (placed 4th) topwinning American Akitas ESTAVA RAIN kennel (placed 3rd), and then we were only two left. The other breeder was the very very successful Flatcoated Retrievers ALMANZA kennel. We were extremely happy to be BIS-2 at this big show.
So, I almost had a blackout when the speaker said: “And the BEST IN SHOW breeders group today iiiiiiisss……. CIRNECO DELL ETNA!!!!”
And suddenly we were there, on top, finally. A dream?
The chock and amaze alone… well, haven’t landed yet. And it’s been more than a week now! ;D
Photos with the judge, hugs and kisses all around, and then out of the main ring to collect for the Progeny Group. And guess who won!?! LAVA!!!! Aaaaah!! 2xBest in Show wins!!! Crazy day! Soooo happy!!!
Day 2 in Tvååker NAT wasn’t so bad either:
Friday’s success almost matched! On Saturday our groups placed BIS 3 breeders group (of 25 groups this time!!!) and our progeny group was BIS 2!!!!
But that’s not all, our young boy Loki was BOB and shortlisted to top 8 in a strong group! Weeei! !! :)))
